Additional Information

The job is seasonal in nature and we provide tours from May to October. The hours may be part-time to start but will be full-time for August, September, and October. We run tours seven days a week and the days are typically long. You can expect to work four ten hour shifts when full time. The hours of work may also vary and you can expect some early mornings.

We have three “types” of tours. We run day tours which depart and return to Baddeck, Shore Excursion tours which depart and return to Sydney, and multi-day tours during Celtic Colours. You can expect to work on all of these tours and also may occasionally be asked to join a bigger bus tour as a guide for the day.

Despite some long days and a busy season, the job is a lot of fun!
